Creating Social Change Through Service!

The Yavapai County VISTA Project, headquartered out of Youth Count, was created in 2006 out of the vision of a single AmeriCorps*VISTA Member.

The Project’s mission is to help build and sustain the efforts of Yavapai County service providers and community members to continually improve the quality of life across the region. We work to support efforts in creating a just and healthy community.

Our project supported by the Corporation for National and Community Service, provides full-time volunteers to nonprofit, faith-based and other community organizations, and public agencies to create and expand programs that ultimately bring low-income individuals and communities out of poverty.

AmeriCorps Week is a recruitment and recognition event designed to bring more Americans into service, salute AmeriCorps members and alums for their powerful impact, and thank the community partners who make AmeriCorps possible.
